For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for transforming spaces.  I have spent years helping friends, family and clients redesign their homes by providing them mock ups and design boards to help them visualize the potential of their spaces.

 

I officially expanded my services and created Torrie Burns Design when my husband and I were rebuilding our home. I wanted a way to ensure our personal design selections for our new home were going to work together, room by room. I wanted to be sure our existing furniture would fit well in the floor plan we designed. Essentially, I wanted a way to "test" selections before making the commitment to spend our budget on them. I brainstormed a way to visually trial tile, paint, wallpaper, hardware, and other selections before officially selecting them.  That is when I learned to make 3D renderings of our home to enable us to make more thoughtful decisions during our build process. As I shared our personal journey, I found there are many others out there who have struggled with the same thing. Choosing lighting, plumbing fixtures, paint colors, hardware, wallpaper, wall treatments, furniture, etc. can be overwhelming to even the most seasoned designers. The design and rendering services I am offering are THE tool to help clients make thoughtful decisions, and really visualize their space before committing. That is when I began offering my design and rendering services to friends, family and eventually a book of clients.
